You can't have a mind unless you're mindful. If you are not mindful, you're like an instinctual animal who always reacts to the same things in the same boring way. So if you really want to own your life, you need to become mindful. Mindfulness has been forever, around forever, in every religion, in every place, people have practiced that. Good parents become mindful with their kids. And they try to really feel things together and to know what it takes together and to find language for things together.
