Tom Love: Warm ups and cool downs are multi-factorial. What gets one person ready isn't going to get the other person in the same state. He says keep it simple, even with an activation or a flush. It doesn't need to be the intensity or duration I prescribed. You're not handcuffing your athlete if you don't engage in those activities. But for that person in front of you, what is the simplest way to get the biggest bang for your buck? That's where in person coaching really trumps kind of digital or virtual coaching.
