How to Reach for More Happy Feelings

If you are in a funk before going to bed, spend several minutes just writing out whatever is on your mind then. It does not matter if it all comes out in a mumbo jumbo, just get it out. Get that out of your system before going to sleep, overnight gives your brain a chance to process. And so you get up feeling more refreshed rather than who wants to go to bed angry. If we don't know what we have, what does more really mean? So when I talk about practicing more gratitude, reaching for more happy feelings, what I'm saying is: "What can I recognize about today or about yesterday that I am thankful for?"
