Are You Running Too Hard?
Heart rate isn't everything when we determine whether we're running easy enough or not. If you can talk in complete sentences without having any puffing then your low intensity probably is low intensity even though heart rate is higher than you think it should be. Do more of this aerobic training on the bike would have cross over effects to running just like walking would but it would also be specific training for improving the bike. Same benefits on the run more benefits on the bike compared to walking so that's another thing to consider.
