The Differences Between Lorazepam and Diazepoxide

The common problem is over medication with phenobarb, I think people have an easier time withholding because people get so scared. Most benzoyl of the bioavailability for the oral is going to be 80 to 90%. So, you know, as long as they can take PO, it's not that different at all. The biggest concern would be somebody who's a heavy drinker. They can have a lot of gastric irritation that can impair absorption. But diazepam or lorazepam, I think both are fine. Do we have to worry about IV to PO conversion with those? Is it one to one with diazepam since it's well absorbed? Yeah.
