Behavior economics is not only using insight from social psychology, but it's also using insights from sociology. When you think about group theory, network theory, my own work on spillovers and how spillovers work in a market, the theories in sociology can really lend deep insight to those kinds of questions. And i predict in the next several decades that there will be competitors to that crown of psychology. It will come through sociology.
