Running Economy

The way that we treat running economy in a road running perspective, or a ten kan marathon perspective, is like this king and queen maker almost. But more importantly, it's not correlated with performance at any of the distances. This is just my hunch that from a performance standpoint, figuring out who can carry that traditional running economy over into a trail setting and who cannot will start to tease out some of that some of that performance.
