The Buddha's extraordinary gift in teaching was his skill in bringing people from just where they were and are to the highest stages of liberation. I see this quality of meta, and it's almost more a quality than a feeling, a quality of openness of heart that simply lets people in. And as we do that, there is a natural and spontaneous response. How can we further develop and strengthen this quality of loving kindness within ourselves?
