How to Analyze Vowels and Consonants
The l and r sounds are tricky to analyze because they don't really work like normal consonants. In fact, those two sounds, together with the w and y sounds, are usually placed together in a special category of sounds called approximates. So given the natural division between these sounds, i'm going to discuss the first pair in this episode and the second pair in the next episode.
