How to Improve Your Fat Oxidation Rate
The theory is to shunt your body into preferential fat oxidation by being in a glycogen-depleted state and maintaining low intensity exercise. But it can be as low as 50% for some athletes or as high as 80% for others. So what I want to remind people of is making sure that the workout continues to target fat oxidation across the entire duration of the workout because you can quite easily interrupt the specific focus of that workout through inappropriate intensity.
