Having a like an understanding that that's what's going on is super valuable and I think this is a great generalizable lesson for a lot of people in a lot of social situations. When you realize what's happening and how you're fitting together with people you can adjust better sometimes it's not even explicit hopefully after a while. "I don't have the full bit of code that I could run that would also do the same thing for me if I were in that situation" he says about his own approach to meeting new people.
