Strength Training - You're Not Lifting Heavy Weights
The set of a the set of five, for a guy, is equivalent to a set of three. Eights or ten for men are not heavy enough to make you stronger. Lifting heavier weights is how you get stronger. There's no other way to do it. And if you can make women lift heavier weights by shifting them to triples instead of lighter fives, then that's what you do to maximize the adaptation.
