The Importance of Nutrition in Longer Races
My longest race, races of the year, the first hour dictates the final sixth hour. And I mean, I keep it simple. I have to finish this water bottle and have a gel like in the first hour because I know that's going to be 90 grams of carbs. So working each athlete's very different. Like Brian needs much differently than I do on the bike and finding for them what their recipe is.
