Product development road maps are an absolute linear wish list of steps that we hope will bring us towards the goal. And when you move, it proposes a new way to get o that finea aen. That's an actual road map. The more time and energy you have invested into committing to something, the more difficult it is to change course. So yes, i think road maps aren't necessarily bad, but they should acknowledge the fact that there is inherent uncertaintyteeleverabletatshould be clarifications of that uncertainty. In practice, we don't know dese things in product development until we start building them and start exposing customers to them.
