Hypertrophy in the Absence of Progressive Overload

i feel like you could see significant muscle hypertrophy even in the absence of progressive overload. The biggest issue is that a a progressive overload is used a synonymous with doing more weight, but that's not necessarily true. So i bet if you take an untrained guy, let him a pos right now, look at is to see how how much tension there is in he muscle. But he hasn't used more weight, just a in hisp ingpositions. And then after six months,  he's able to pose a lot harder and generate a lot more force.
