The Importance of Diversity in Content on TikTok
The most important use case is you come and you get to see recommended content. TikTok has very clear community guidelines, we're very transparent about what is allowed and what is not allowed on our platform. We have built a team that is tens of thousands of people plus machines in order to identify content that is bad and actively and proactively remove it from the platform. In our industry, we rely mainly on something called age gating, which is when you sign out for the app for the first time and we ask you for the age.
