Fewer than five per cent of people in sub saharan africa had phones. Public officials who worked for the state owned phone companies demanded bribes from people who wanted phones. An entropiner named moibrahim decided that he would set up a tele communications y on the continent. The company provided affordable mobile phones and cell service to millions of africans, some of the poorest and most corrupt countries in the region.
