"I was smiling smugly throughout what you were saying. Because I'm upset that we did not cross paths earlier," she says. "When it comes down to what it takes to build rapport, like the skill set behind it, everybody has what it took to effectively build rapport." The dress people saw as black and blue and single saw as white and gold is because they've spent a whole lot of time around things that have been overexposed in sunlight or artificial light. It's all about how your brain interprets an ambiguous situation. And so based on your research, how can somebody get to that point where they're willing to make that emotional sacrifice?
