The Moment to Moment Decisions
The book is about the moment to moment decision making that we're constantly doing around all behaviors in our life, particularly health behaviors. So if a habit loop has the goal of audomating decisions so you don't have to decide, what you argue is actually life often takes us out of these habit loops and we do have to make a choice. And for me, and i don't know if you feel the same way as a coach, but that's where the goal is. It's unpacking what got in the way. Was it a belief you held? Was it an unexpected challenge that you didn't know how to negotiate or navigate?
