You have to be on a certain level of shape in order to run, because you're doing these simultaneous unilateral single legged jumps constantly. And so i think that there's a very positive and good amount that you can gain from strength training. Whether it's proximale stability, or even just just the big muscles,. Having te strong glut, having a strong quad, being able to plant er plannerflex force fully when you have to kick. If you are a forfeit striker, make sure you have strength, but also endurance as well - this is a distant sport.
