You have five or six years to learn the techniques if you want to be serious about power lifting. I would recommend throwing, and then do the olympi gliffs - three days a week olympic lifting, four days a week throwing. The people who get the most out of it tend to be a certain style of person. i don't think i've ever coached with a glass of scotch in my hand. My daughter does palatesa. There's a whole family of movement and based materials.
