The FTC's Anti-Advertising Policy
The FTC is going through a process to see whether they might not create a new set of rules to enforce against certain commercial surveillance related practices and that's what they named the ANPR when they put it out for public comment last year. The A&P-R I didn't realize rulemaking got it's two wordsYeah yeah that I learned but yeah what forms of media are considered like non-controversial that the FTC wouldn't be concerned about. It's not an FTC is against advertising channels or or the practice of advertising because their mission is healthy healthy competition and consumer protection.
