News letters are awesome, because you get to push to your audience no matter what. It's in a more private place than a social media feed where you have potentially hundreds or thousands of people that you follow. But it's really hard to grow a newsletter without a bigger audience somewhere else. And so i think that's where some of the hate is coming in for news letters right now. We want to say, hey, this is a great component of a media company when you have something that has exposre to a viral feed.
