The Effects of Genetic Variability on the Dose of ALA

There's such a strong genetic factor in your ability to convert the ALA from flax seeds, walnuts and greens into EPA and then DHEPA. Most people don't convert very well but some people do convert adequately. I've seen people take no supplements and have levels of 7 or 8 and I'm shocked they take. So mostly we recommend about if you add up the DHEPA and EPA together about 250 for most people get some up to about 5.5 or above 6.
