What Caused the Stall Horns to Stall?
The first officer seemed to have mistaken the go lever for the auto throttle disconnect push button in an attempt to change the auto throttle system to manual thrust. The investigators found this to be ambiguous, because he said, disengage it. So with this arrangement, the possibility exists for an inadvertent activation of the goa lever during normal operation of the thrust levers.
