How to Split Long Runs Into Two Smaller Runs
If you can't get in a certain distance, then I would find a way to rearrange your schedule by either flipping your days so that you can get it in or potentially flipping your weeks. You know, the key thing to think about when you're moving runs around is that you just don't want to upset the integrity of the sequence. The worst thing you can do, for example, is to do a speed day and a long run day back to back without active rests in between. If you can do that and still move things around, then that's much better.
