Is the Designer in the Food Future?
Ashley: A lot of highly technical food solutions are still so energy and tensive. I don't think that solves anything for any one. It's just replicating the same failed systems we see a from our food system. The most critical thing you can do as design, as a designer, is not designing anything all at once - it should be thinking about how to blend the new with the old. And i think that is actually the most exciting work that's actually happening in design today.
