Is There a Barrier to Entry in Sales?
I wasn't someone who knew early on that I wanted to be in sales or even tech. My first few jobs were generalists go to market roles so I got to do a lot of roles except for sales. And at some point it shifted for me where I realized I enjoyed helping others in my team close deals. That's when I knew it was time for me to try management and so got his first shot at frontline management at Quantcast. Then I wanted to see if I could build a go to market engine from scratch like if I had a blank slate. So that's what took me to lattice.
