A high percentage of drowsy driving related crashes are fatal because the individual is asleep and they make no attempt avoid the crash. Law enforcement officials aren't necessarily trained to ask questions about how much sleep tha the driver involved in a crash has gotten. There is no breathalizer test, no to show that your blood sleep level is as low. Most of us can understand what it's like to feel impaired by alcohol but not when we're chronically sleep deprived.
