Hip Flexor Pain - What Should I Do?
In order to understand a what the thing does, you have to look at what it looks like and what its action is. The brain can perceive that weakness as tightness because of how the nerve receptors are so usually a weak muscle is lengthened. And then you're able to put together why you're feeling a certain way, why certain motions are tight, or why you have symptoms with certain activities. A lot of runners like to stretch their hip flexer before coming to me or you and saying, you know, i've tried stretching. It doesn't help.
