I was struck by like, well, you can afford clean water for people in Africa. And I truly do believe that probably most Americans have not illegal, but have a moral obligation to ask themselves sincerely if they should give a considerable portion of their income to people that are truly destitute around the world. But just because I don't think this is the best way to allocate money necessarily doesn't mean that there shouldn't be things like, hey, maybe you're allowed to go bankrupt on your student loan 100% and your parents aren't responsible. That's not how it works once you're over 18, an adult. It's not dischargeable via death. You can't escape it.
