How to Prepare for a Race on Kona
The sauna protocol, there is some research behind it and some published papers. You start off with three times 10 minutes with a five or 10 minute break between each way. It's not perfect preparation, but it's certainly better than being in temperate climate that we have in the UK now. Athletes need to register from, I think, from the Thursday of Thursday. And then they've got to go and rack on Friday afternoon and get ready for the race. So people like to go watch the dolphins and do the Manta Ray dive. Of course, you've got to find those turtles as well!
