How to Know if Something Is True

We have to ask ourselves, how do I know this is true? And why do I believe it? We should do that over and over again because we hold a lot of beliefs that were just inherited from our parents or society. Even scientists do it. They come up with a theory about how things work and then they design these faulty research algorithms to skew the results towards what they want to see. That's not good science. There are methods of thinking through stuff. Think through these things. Don't just say this is true. This doesn't work because people will assert that it does.
