How to Deal With Stress and Overspending
If you struggle with anxiety or overspending due to stress, a couple of exercises can help. Write down your go-to activities that will bring you back to some sort of steady state or regulation and break those up into healthy and unhealthy groupings. And then the second thing is if you are again struggling with the sort of overspending with stress, how do we not let that wreck your budget? You do it by trying to bring a lot of awareness to it. Either have a budgeted line item where you set aside money specifically to handle that stress spending or as Hannah laid out, have a way to track your stress spending.
