Reverse Pyramid Training for the Ballistics

If you're doing ballistic work, I think it's better to come down and reps, not go up. Reverse pyramid training is a very bodybuilding specific thing. It combines Arthur Jones, Ellington Darden's Mike Miskers. The old Mike Misker joke was he complained about not being Mr. Olympia but did whatever he wanted.
