The Influence of Passive Tension on Muscle Activity
In theory, leverage refers to everything that determines joint angle torque at that particular joint angle range of motion. But ultimately in practice, it's probably just the internal moment arm. If a muscle has poor leverage, it longer links where we tend to say a couple of things. For example, if you're raising the arm really high overhead, the lats don't appear to have a length tension relationship. So they also tend to lose their leverage of their shorts. They kind of build on each other.
