When you are an infant like Losing the relationship to your primary caregiver is literally a threat of death Like it's a life and death situation because if you don't have your caregiver, you're going to die. And so kind of hardwired into the human nervous system is this imperative towards relationships. As we grow up You know and we become adults that imperative is not as strong as it was when we were infants. But for people with insecure attachment styles being away from their attachments can be really disregulating even for the dismiss and avoidant but in a different way.
