How to Be Kind to Children

Sally Kohn: I was about to turn off the TV in absolute disgust when a woman with kind eyes stood up and said that being nice to children has not resulted in them becoming selfish or self-centered. She says she didn't think it was right to be coercing and micromanaging and manipulating, molding and shaping children. "If you bully children the way you're suggesting, they'll follow your example and become bullies themselves"
