The Impression of Past Actions
The mind retains impressions of all our past actions. Sometimes these impressions become a source of remorse to us. On both sides we feel the joy and we also feel the strong remorse. This is another comic effect that those actions that were done were not done and lost but the effect of them remains in the mind as an impression.
