The Effects of Carbohydrates on Hunger

An average person would have about 3000 calories that you can store in glycogen for carbohydrates, even if you do carbohydrate loading. An average person stores about 60,000 calories of fat in your body. This is why we can fast for many, many weeks and still survive. For me, it was very surprising that going on long runs without any carb loading and then not feeling hungry - I could go almost a full day after and not eat.
