Sleep Deprivation and Depression

Exercise promotes both psychological resilience and reduces inflammation in the body. The more exercise, the more regular exercise can be really powerfully protective against depression or even have antidepressant effects. If you totally sleep deprive people, so they get no sleep at all, then some people will have a temporary improvement in their mood that lasts until they fall asleep.
