The Strengths of the Chronic Mechanical Ventilation Trial
The primary endpoint was ventilator three days through to day 28. Patients who died before day 28 were considered to have zero ventilator 3 days. It's just an interesting observation that what was intended is not exactly what occurred. The amount of granular detail in relation to oxygen exposure was far greater than an any previous clinical trial.
