The Most Effective Volume Dosage

The classic recommendation is 10 to 20 sets as a starting point for most people, works most of the time. Growth stimulus and local fatigue are pretty closely linked together. You want to cook your muscles a little bit. That's probably a decent estimate of what we call minimum effective volume.
