Anders Ericsson is an expert in performance. He has this amazing, like a small example in his book where he would invite in one of his students every week. And the student would develop his own system and go from five consecutive to 12 to 13. The idea is that they were deliberately practicing different techniques to try and drive certain types of outcomes. It's actually doing something for a period of time doesn't make you master it but helps you stretch your knowledge thresholds.
