I don't see any evidence that that has made it the slightest ioto difference to our diplomatic position in the world. The brand financial board going back on the finances, the brand finance report is not really worth the paper it's written on. It offers absolutely no sources or evidence whatsoever and it's been largely debunked. No one's talking about a French presidency, so we're talking about a parliamentary republican. If you look at Ireland, it's four million euros a year. Over here it's more like £345 million a year when you add all the extra costs. I really don’t see any benefit or value to it at all"
