The Stages of Grief
There are stages of grief, but let's talk about them because I think that is something that in the general public gets the most misconstrued about what grief is and what the stages are. Elizabeth Kubler Ross was the person that originated this. David Kessler ended up working with her and writing a couple books with her. And then they wrote the book on grief and grieving together that took the stages of grief for your own death and adapted them to grief in general. They're the same stages. Some people might hit every stage. But I do think it's important to talk about thembecause what I thought they were is not what they were.
