We can think our way through fatigue, and then there are unconscious mechanisms that we can't do anything about. And this is certainly applicable in endurance, where our contractions are really on off. But it also applies to strength applications. If you were to do a max squat, a one r m, what if when you racked the bar, that contraction didn't go away? I mean, this is how severe and how intense these contractions are. These are excruciating. They're very painful. Why i'm going toi push as hard or ju suffer the cramps? No thi awful. Can ask is t cost me some important placings and even victory in some cases? Yes
