The Origins of Civil War in the United States

Slavery is about slaveocracy. Or was that meant? Well, it was about slavery too. But I would say that slaveocracy. The antebellum elites diverged from the new elites that made their money in mining, smelting iron and railroads. So this diversion interests were one of the motivations that led the new elites to try to overthrow the old elites. And they were doing this using the democratic institutions essentially. They decided to separate. That's how things led to this very bloody civil war.
