How to Balance Strength and Running for Optimal Recovery

Most optimal is when you can pair your harder strength days with your harder running days. For example, for me, I do two strength workouts a week, Tuesday and Thursday. Those happen after my harder, longer midweek runs so that I can really focus on recovery on the other days. And if you can be consistent, that's the most important thing and wherever that works for you, do it.
