The Biases in the Narrative of Nation-Building and Modernization of Literacy
The biases invented in the narrative of nation-building and modernization played a significant role in people's acceptance of political authorities called for literacy training. Without literacy training, I consider was one meeting ground between the state and the people of the lower social sector. So this adult literacy training program provides me a concrete angle to examine how ordinary Chinese experience the rise of modern nation-state.
